What does a ProActive strength program consist of?
Resistance strength training helps to restore and improve overall muscular strength and endurance. A series of resistance exercise machines- called a circuit line- are used for individuals to physically move and work the major muscles of the body. Proactive utilizes a MedX strength training circuit line that includes 10 pieces of different equipment that help move and strengthen the full body. Exercise trainers help set up the overall strength training program as well as all machines during every exercise session. Progression and intensity levels are based on personal goals as well as individual health status and conditions. Exercise form is constantly monitored and critiqued to ensure safety and effectiveness. Exercise charts are also used to record each exercise session, view progress and keep workouts consistent.

What does an aerobic (cardiovascular) program consist of?
Aerobic training helps to restore and improve cardiovascular endurance and stamina. Several different types of cardiovascular machines can be used to enable individuals to participate regularly in some form of physical activity that works the cardio-respiratory system. Cardiovascular machines within the facility include treadmills, bikes, and ellipticals. These machines are equipped with easy-to-use displays and heart rate monitors. Duration, frequency and intensity levels are based on individual goals, health status and specific conditions or diseases. Our professional exercise trainers are always available to set clients up on any machine as well as develop proper exercise prescriptions and answer any questions.
