ProActive’s physical therapy and exercise wellness programs ultimately help to improve one’s overall health and well-being. Circuit strength training lines (machines that work a different muscle or muscle group) are utilized to help clients conveniently work the entire body. Our professional exercise instructors help set the machines for the clients at every exercise session. ProActive strives to make therapy and exercise convenient, safe and effective in order to make it effective and a lasting part of all clients’ lives

A woman was physically having trouble getting around work and home because of hip pain. It affected her physically and mentally. She went through a physical therapy program and supervised exercise routine for 6 weeks. This helped alleviate her pain and improved her strength, energy and outlook on life. She continues every week to exercise on a circuit-strength training routine to keep her body moving and feeling good.
Success Story #2
A man came into the facility walking using a rolling walker because of horrible back pain. After 6 weeks of physical therapy, he was able to walk on his own with no pain. He was afraid he would be unable to travel to see his family for the holidays. Continuing with a supervised exercise
program, he was able to see his family for the
holidays and he has been pain-free and fully functional every since. He is able to take walks and hikes and continually feels healthy and strong.
Success Story #3
A woman started an exercise program for basic health reasons- lose weight, feel better and get healthier. The supervised strength training circuits and aerobic exercise helped her improve her energy, decrease health-risk factors, lose weight and ultimately made her feel better physically and mentally. She continued this program for years, improving and maintaining her strength and stamina. One day she got into a life-threatening car accident. She went through physical therapy and eventually got back to her normal exercise routine and pre-accident health after 3 months. She continues her exercise routine to this day and credits it to her incredible recovery from her accident.
Success Story #4
A healthy man went through a supervised exercise routine to stay healthy and strong. One day he got into a horrible motorcycle accident and lost a leg below his knee. This was extremely tough on him physically and mentally. He went through physical therapy with a supervised exercise routine for 3 months. He credits his improvement in attitude, strength and overall health to this combination of programs. He continues today on a full-body supervised exercise routine and is walking successfully on a prosthetic leg.
Success Story #5
An 82 year old lady started her physical therapy program in April 2009 at ProActive after 5 months in 3 different rehab facilities for problems with her leg strength, coordination and balance. After her initial plan of care with physical therapy at ProActive, we were able to pinpoint her specific problem and weakness: lack of strength in her hip area that was affecting her walking ability. With the correct diagnosis we were also able to refer her to specific specialists to help her with her overall care of treatment. Through physical therapy at ProActive, she has now improved her hip and overall strength as well as her walking ability.
