Telehealth Physical Therapy
ProActive Physical Therapy and Performance Center is now offering virtual telehealth physical therapy appointments. You can have face-to-face physical therapy sessions with your physical therapist over a secure video conference call from your home or other secure location.
How Does Virtual Physical Therapy Work?
It is basically a physical therapy treatment session over an online video conferencing platform. Once you set-up an appointment time, a link will be sent to you for the scheduled session. You will need reliable internet access in addition to video/audio capabilities on your mobile device or personal computer to successfully link up your video session.
How Do I Schedule an Appointment?
If you are already an established patient, just email your physical therapist to set up an appointment.
If you are a new patient, just email us at info@proactiveptcenter.com or request an appointment here. We will get you in contact with one of our physical therapists to set up your first virtual visit.
How Much Does an Appointment Cost?
The cost of a telehealth physical therapy appointment will depend on your specific insurance benefits, or whether you are choosing a self-pay option.
Currently, some insurance plans are now accepting telehealth physical therapy claims. Major plans include Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield, United, UMR, Cigna, Medicare, Workers' Comp, and Personal Injury/Auto. You will need to check with your insurance carrier about potential telehealth benefits for physical therapy with your specific plan.

Self-pay costs for telehealth appointments are the following rates:
$90 for follow-up appointments
$120 for initial evaluation appointment
How Do I Pay?
ProActive PT offers an online payment option for clients to pay for telehealth therapy services. Clients can make payments through our secure online payment portal, or through payment platforms such as Google Pay™ or PayPal®. For those who are unable to pay online, please call our office to set up a payment option.
